Crucial Detail, the team behind the Porthole, an infusion vessel designed by Martin Kastner in Chicago, recently sent the first round of the orb one, a new approach to coffee. Michilen starred Alinea relies on Martin's innovative products for many of the service items used throughout a meal, as well as service at James Beard award winning Aviary. According to Crucial Detail's website, the Orb One is a "unique, single-portion stovetop coffeemaker that offers the flexibility to change the coffee type by simply changing your grind."
